Welcome to Hispanics For Christ!

Monday October 13th Jorge Osorio unexpectedly passed away in Guatemala City, Guatemala while visiting his family and exploring the opportunities for planting new churches there. He leaves behind his wife Donna and three boys: Tim, Aaron and Jonathan.

Jorge was the founder and Executive Director of Hispanics for Christ. He trained leaders and planted churches among Hispanics in South, Central and North America. His influence will continue on through the men and women he raised up in these churches and through the Board of Directors of Hispanics for Christ who shared his passion for church planting.

There will be a memorial service for Jorge on Saturday November 1st at 1 p.m. at Central Bible Church, 8815 NE Glisan St., Portland. Donations to help the family may be sent to Hispanics for Christ, 7412 N. Mississippi Ave., Portland, OR 97217.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Geoff and his wife moved to Portland, OR in 1992. He earned his M. Div. from Western Seminary in Portland and has been a pastor since 1995. He is currently completing his D. Missiology at Western, working among Hispanic churches and leading short term mission teams. He serves as Administrator and a coach for HFC.
